Got two cordless grinders Dewalt 18V and dewalt 54v both been excellent. Only reason I chose dewalt was thats the battery system i'm tied into. Cant fall either as grinders, the 54v is almost comparable to a mains grinder just a little heavier.
The dewalt not bad. Bosch, and Makita offerings are gutless, good for cutting the odd bolt or small bits, maybe a little bit if dressing. But not much else.
they are all gutless when you throw em up against a metabo. Mines the latest Milwaukee fuel. Supposed to be one of the best on the market. It’s fine for what I do and it’s got some go for a cordless tool. The equivalent metabo knocks seven shades of ............ out of it.I'm going to stick with gutless. We use cubitron ii discs, grinding with it was slow work, cutting was also not great. I'd take the dewalt over Makita any day.
