Reciprocating saw blades

Im looking for Reciprocating saw blades I use the normal thin blades with different teeth I use it on cars but find the blade bend easy and don't last no matter what make I use is there and thicker and better blades out there

after using a plasma cutter there even easier to cut with than a recipe saw blade

easier then a hand grinder as well with less dust to a degree as well

as goes for saw blades the thicker they are the more heat they can cause and the blades teeth dont last as long either

Bosch blades are about the best re-cip blades I've had my hands on.

Milwaukee do their "torch blade" which is thick, lenox do some too but they seem to have rejigged their product line so goodness knows which one it is.

i loike the milwakee ones for metal, but a air body saw with broken up hack saw blades is better for cars IMO

Another one for Milwaukee Carbide Torch blades. Went through 2 packs of Bosch trying to cut the rear camber and toe bolts out of the Shogun and barely got through one bolt. Someone recommended the Milwaukee blade and even with it banging off the suspension arm it barely bent and was easy to straighten out and carry on again. Cutting on a slow speed with cutting compound one blade managed to get through all the bolts. Still have the blades, just cut the end off with the worn teeth and use the remaining blade.

I was cutting up an advertising trailer on Monday that had been abandoned in one of our fields. No wheels or axle, just the 40x40x3 shs frame.

No air or power supply so it had to be cordless tools.

Started off with the cordless grinder but it was slow, messy, hard on discs & batteries.

I ran out of grinder batteries so I swapped to my bosch sawzall. Much quicker, cleaner & safer, one battery on it did more work than 3 batteries on the grinder.

The only thing that let it down was the lidl/parkside blades I was using. No speed control on the bosch and no lube with me so I guess it was hard on the blades but they still went blunt too quickly for my liking.

I might try some bosch blades - my Scottish blood stops my from buying the Milwaukee ones. I mean £21.50 for 1 blade, I paid less than that for the tool!

Makita one i was using is good, left it lying on the boot spoiler and 40mile and a week later it was still there

Not had reason to try one of the metal blades yet, but the Sabrecut wood blade I've been using just refuses to die or blunt. If the metal blades are as resilient.... Not overly expensive, either.

If you're a tight git like me,then dont be fooled by the lidl or aldi blades they do,they're really poooooooooooooooooooooooresp the metal cutting ones

I've got a Bosch saw and used their blades for along time. More recently, I bought some blades made by Triton (perhaps these https://bestpriced.co.uk/triton-954242-recip-saw-blade-set-5pce-150mm-05024763149672) and have been quite pleased with them.

I used to use Bosch jigsaw blades in the airsaw, think they may have been slightly thicker
