Recipricating saw blades

Bought a recipricating saw for general diy jobs and automotive jobs and plus never had one in the workshop so thought another toy So Was wondering if the good people of this forum could recommend a decent blade for all purpose cutting.

Make of your saw is?
Shouldn't really matter as most/some saws will accept most makes of blades but some dont
My favourite Bi metal blades are Bosch ones

It's only a cheapy from b&q for £25 made by Mac allister. Seems reasonably well made for the money and thought it was worth a try. Thanks for the recommendation about the blades will have a look in b&q tomorrow.

NO dont buy the Bosch blades from B&Q they cost a fortune screwfix or toolstation is the place

Single speed 750w but had £25 left from xmas money from mother in law and needed a fix for my tool addiction after spending the rest on clothes.

Bring the blade along with you when you visit screwfix so you can match it up just in case

TBH i wouldn't go giving it a good thrashing macallister aren't the best of the cheap stuff out there

Erbauer blades from screwfix are cheap enough to throw away when knackered without too much stress, they are surprisingly good considering how cheap they are.

Thankyou all! And no problem if it dies on me ,will upgrade next month by dropping hints to the Wife about my birthday lol. She took notice and got me the 18v Mikita cordless drill and impact screwdriver I hinted about for Christmas.

The Bosch BiMetal blades are very good and not overly expensive.

I bought Erbauer ones from Screwfix for a £1 a blade (5 pack) cut through 5/6" I Beam, So properly tested it. For money can't go wrong, But I did notice Screwfix had nearly doubled the price on them!

A little cutting paste or oil works wonders too...if you havnt already done that.
