My boss has Esab origo mig 340pro 4wd 3 phase. Its made in Sweden, not a single problem ever, few weeks ago found one second hand but made in Poland, all the same. They must have done that to make bigger profit so they moved manufacturing somewhere where is labor cheaper, and now are most likely made in china
Same with me. I have old 3 phase 200kg stick welder for my workshop use and everyone laughs at me "You allways buy expensive quality stuff, why cant you buy modern small welding machine? Why dont you buy small portable mig?"
I doubt that any Fronius, Kemppi or Lorch stick inverter match the reliability of the good old transformer machine, not to mention you can get machines like mine for less than new Fronius transpocket 150
This is why I don't buy modern machines. Precisely this scenario I am imagening in my nightmares.
