hi fellas ,where can I get some 12mm dia ish rod/ rebar in the Medway area,its to make up a curved frame for a chicken run,gotta be completely fox proof,size of frame dependant on cost as usual but the idea is something like a polytunnel shape,I would ideally like it to end up about 5mx3m ish.the idea is to have a small section frame so that it is not so in your face when seen from the house, the coop itself will be along the lines of a swiss chalet or similar once again for looks,unlikely to get used materials I know but second hand steel tube/conduit would do if anyones got any going for scrap thanks for reading

Hy-Ten in Chatham Dockyard. They sell rebar and all sorts of other steels. I have bought little bits for cash from them, if you buy a proper bit you can also pay by card! I've not bought rebar from them but they have a huge amount of the rebar mesh for concrete reinforcing in there.

I was going to suggest them, but I couldnt remember their name, and yell.co.uk came up with nothing. I'm glad they are still there as they are very local to me! (Actually I was an apprentice on their current site when it was a Royal Naval Dockyard!)

It's been a few years since I bought from them, but as I remember they were very friendly and helpful.
