So I did a fillet weld on a small piece of 4mn thick, mild steel. I had discovered that I was previously going a bit fast and was getting slag inclusion.
After slowing down, it made for better looking welds.
All done on a Parkside PIFDS 120 B2 inverter flux cored welder @ 120 Amps, with 0.9mm flux cored wire.
On the second image, I had a moment of extreme heat on the back of my glove, so I had to stop, briefly.
