One of the UK wholesalers did used to bring them in but they never took off for some reason, probably cause they will flatten a battery in.......... FLAT!
Have their uses I suppose but never seen or tried one so can't honestly comment.

I never used one but there has been lots of discussion of them on other forums. I would say if it was hooked to a regular welder and used as a spoolgun it would be pretty good. As far as batteries i don't know how long they last...Bob

They have good reports from use 'in the field" (/swamp/quarry/literally) on landrovers. sound very useful for that sort of work.
