Re purpose suggestions

Plenty of fun been had repurposing gas bottles but not seen much to do with beaten up shopping trolleys. I happened across these two the other day.

remove the mesh and use the base as a mig trolley for inverter mig or tig etc,also could be cut down the mesh to resemble chair,add old cushion for comfort, the rollers could be used for under truck trolley thing so you can slide under a vehicle, I know the name but it evades me!(grr)

Go into any factory & the maintenance guys use them modified to take their tool boxes around.

Keep them as they are for moving various stuff around... or maybe one as is and one cut down to make it easier to get heavier stuff in and out.

Made use of them on a number of occasions for shifting kit round productions, while stripping BB out recently the production guys had acquired at least 10 from the tesco next door, came in very handy. Have also used them on night shifts before to carry tools around jobs as well.

I turned one into a motorised garden sieve. My garden was so full of stones, broken glass etc it was not fit for turfing so I bolted a motor on the front of one of those with an offset weight on it, plugged it in and started shovelling the dirt through it. Every 5 mins I tipped the stones out of the flip-up hatch into a wheelbarrow. I got maybe half a dozen wheelbarrows of stones & other junk out of the garden before laying turf.

Funny thing was after I robbed the wheels off it the damn thing didn't work as a sieve any more.

I may have seen the wheels and leg sections welded to an old Dexion bench as a temporary welding cart.

I may have seen a section of the mesh fixed in an oil catch tray to stand oil filters on to drain.

I may have seen four castors from a 1970’s shopping trolley on an angle iron frame with an Oxford arc welder on.

I may stop there before the shopping trolley police turn up for Christmas.
