Ratchet Crimp Jaws

Can I change the jaws on these ratchet crimps?

These ones don't seem to have the additional pins holding in the jaws...

Any help would be great!

The jaws you show have a shoulder which abuts the body of the tool. The ones fitted don't have this shoulder, hence the pins. You could probably remove the pins and fit the other jaws.

Yes you can.

The ones with Red, Blue and Yellow are for insulated crimps.

The other set for Un-insulated crimps.

But you will need the same manufactures jaws.

If you don’t already have jaws you might find the price of another set of crimpers (complete with jaws) is similar in price.

I have one of these yellow chinese crimpers and replaced the jaws. They fit, problem is the uninsulated crimp jaws I got, same as in your photo, are rubbish, so I often resort to my modified pliers instead.

cheaper and more efficient to buy another set of crimpers for what ya need.......dont bother with extra jaw's and besides u'll prob loose em anyway.....

Think those pins are just to help seat the crimp. Take the screw out and the jaws should come out. If you are desperate I could lend you a set.

Those crimp terminals themselves are garbage. I solder them on or use uninsulated as a preference
