evenif you just paint the tray under the blade its easier to clean the crap out with a paint brush

a tip on getting good wear out of blades . if your cutting a lot of smallish materials all the time the blades wear about 4inch in the middle stick an inch block in the vice and it moves the job over on to some fresh blade teeth
