Who ever reads the terms and conditions when buying items from the internet?
It's a bit of a rant but only my own fault at the end of the day.
I had a set of four tyres and wheels delivered recently for a new trailer profect, however they turned out to be unsuitable for their intended purpose so I decided to return them.
Yodel collected them and I called the company they were returned to so to confirm they had received them. No worries, they had and would process the refund in due course, less the re-handling fee.
So, of the £280 original invoice, they take back the postage which I estimate at £20, then 15% of what's left, another £39!
The tyres I bought (probably hastily) and returned (at a cost of £25) have now cost me £84!!!
I called them back when I worked this out, stating that I had bought a lot of items previously and still intended to buy more, including a replacement set of tyres, and could they reduce the handling charge as I understood they had to charge something but thought 15% was a bit excessive. I was very polite and calm but the lady eventually hung up on me.
It is a rant against the company because I think they're taking the **** however it's all there in black and white and ultimately my own wrong doing.
Just bringing it to everyone's attention, or maybe you read the terms and conditions first

ps new tyres and wheels now ordered elsewhere, that doesn't charge a re-handling fee.
