Done. The A little more machining on the roller system and then the wire rope I bought yesterday was cut to size and secured into the press. The table now floats up and down with extreme ease, a job that was a total nightmare previously especially if a job was on the table and needed to be moved down a rung.

I should add that the crawler is doing well, and working. It’s been a bit hard to start lately, but it’s getting better. I think the needle I made myself is wearing in.

We had another storm and I heard a great big crack, two branches came down and well, why not eh! Chop up onsite or use this little champion to drag them over to where I process all my timber.

I've got the same problem, although I reckon the bed on my press weighs about twice the weight of yours and I really struggle moving it, so much so that I keep the bed too low and block up the workpieces.
This picture has just put it right up to near the top of my to-do list, so thanks.
I just hope I can find that picture when I do it.
