It's a complete pita getting a wheelbarrow up. Ditto when we have Tesco home delivery. Getting the trolley up the step is grief.
I wipe a job off the board within a few minutes of it being completed and all the tools are put away .What priority do you give to updating the priority board?
Salt is your friend for dissolving frost and killing moss . sweeping the slabs once or twice a month also helps prevent moss developing so does using sprayed on patio cleaner anti moss liquid . My 40 mtrs of metre wide path have been down 21 years there is no moss on them even though they are between two NNW walls which rarely get much sun . They do get power washed about every three years then get anti moss sprayed .

I'm not a fan of slopes...but if there's a genuine need then it's how it needs to be. Slopes work well with side walls.
The limited work I've done I've always dug down to at least the frost line and then back filled with type 1. Frost heave is not much fun...as my neighbour found out (I even told him at the time he was doing it!)

I part finish a job and leave the tools in a random pile. Makes starting the next one(s) so much easier...
Mainly as it's such a ball ache to put them away and get to them again.
