I was painting the carcass of the surface grinder today. Calamity from the word go, mixed up 1/2 litre of paint and while i got my mask and things on, looked around i had knocked it over, all around the floor .
Mopped that up and mixed some more, painted the body of the machine and it turned out great, really happy with it. Decided to do a few other bits as the weather was good and i had them primed. Did the table and saddle and again they came out lovely with my little fast mover spray gun.
Cleaned the gun and tidied up, decided i'd go for a cuppa, came out 1/2 hour later and it had rained . The saddle i am not worried about, as it was a rough casting anyway, but the top of the table was marked.
Can i sand this put or is it a case of rub it down and do it again ? Whats the usual thing with rain on very fresh paint ?
