After you have bought a chop saw and been heavily peppered with shrapnel , you might take a moment to switch off the god forsaken noise it makes and look at upgrading to a bandsaw.
Now is your ideal opportunity to cut out the middle man.
@Craig-SM They have a reduced warranty compared to a new one. Mine blew up just out of warranty & they were going to charge me more than what the saw cost to repair
Thanks gents, I think for my needs it will be ok and gives me some versatility with multi materials. Im sure if I was using it day in day out there are better options out there, but for a diy'er like myself. That said Ill keep my eyes out for a donkey saw.
