I used to be licensed to train people to drive wheelchairs. Depressing to be training people to use junk.
Racing wheelchairs? nobody in their right mind would lend their personal chair out. Precious precious things. Even more precious than pushbikes.

The alternative and even more heroic thing might be to borrow an NHS chair and have a relay team of pushers.

Sadly, Chunkolini is right. You are unlikely to get a loaner, and you are not likely to manage the muscle usage. I think most is triceps and deltoids, with a little pectorals.

You could try http://www.cpsport.org for help. Littl'un competes and they may be able to help you out.

Nothing exciting Gav, just lost my footing on some slippery ground and my left leg bent over my right foot as I fell.
A lift to fracture clinic at the RUH tomorrow would be good!
Just kidding of course, I've already booked my seat on the Hopper.

When my lads were young 8 and 10,they broke there legs within a week or 2 of each other,my ex pushed them around ruh one sitting on top the other as one broke his right and one his left !

I can get a bog standard wheel chair from a mate who works at an old folks home, someone will have to be sofa bound that weekend

Broken legs? I had one, very nasty. 9 months in a pot to the hip followed by bone grafts.

Some fool jumped a red light, T boned me perfectly.
Thought they were going to take my leg off at one point.
Loo after your legs.
Got off ok in the end.
I also got my degree because of it.
I made myself go back to college after three weeks or I would have murdered my folks and was that p****d off I got on with my studies and finished them.
I have the screws and plates in a box and am saving them for taxi driver from Hull. Lovely big shiny allen headed things.
