How would I go about that? I know very little about electrics. The garage is newly built and the sparks took a probably 20 mm cable from the outside metre down to garage then put in 13 and 16 amp plugs around the place

Find out the cable size they put in, it may be sufficient to wire straight 16 or 32 amp plugs into if it is large enough.

It was a big fat cable I'll see if there is any numbers on the cable where it comes off the meter.cheers

Done a few runs today on 15mm plate.could only get 160 amps out of it on 13 amp plug

Be much better if you clean the metal first
I would be using MMA on 15 mill plate

I was just testing it out. grabbed 2 lumps out off the scrap pile I'm happy enough with it I won't be using it for heavy plate only box and plate 5 or 6 mm
