I've seen loads, I liked one Americans one. He put it together with very little to start. Then made the table and cut everything out with the table to make it work after. Looked amazing.

Sheet metal bender is easy to make. Mine is a home made hobby from my apprenticeship days
Plas table again a doddle to Knock up with a saw and a welder.

I've half made one now, just not got round to finishing it. It's a really HD one though and quite small. Because of it's size I thought Id make that into a Thicker steel bar bender. Then make a longer one for steel sheet. Or buy a fly press to do some.

Mine is only a 600mm capacity one. It's had some recent strength mods to cope with sharp bends on 1.5mm stainless across its length.
Obviously you need to consider strength when building it but the real trick is making it produce lovely sharp bends on what ever you chose to put under it.

Yeah sure.
It's 16 years old and knocked up by an apprentice but it works surprisingly well.

These were the test samples after I beefed it up to cope with 1.5mm SS
