hello bought a clark 110e mig welder off ebay i thought it was gasless the
seller said he did not know a lot about it as he was selling it for a friend when i got it home pluged it in no sound at all and no off and on switch light
i thought it would have made a huming sound it looked dead got hold of the
gun pulled the trigger and the wire came out ok it has no tip or shroud but
i struck it on some steel and got a arc i think i have to have gas i have no gas or regulator thanks

Welcome to the forum.
The old 'selling for a friend' is a bit dodgy, that's usually a cop out for 'it doesn't work' but if it feeds and arcs then there's a good chance it's ok.
Torch parts are very cheap, everything you need is available here and I's also get a new liner while you're at it.
That needs to use gas so you'll need a connection kit, also here.
My suggestion would be the refillable kit, it's a much more economical setup than using those little disposables which only last about 10 mins.
I see you paid very little for the welder so you can afford to spend a few quid on it.

It has no cooling fan which makes it very quiet and I believe on that one the power light should only come on when it overheats.

Hi Anne, welcome to the forum.

This is gas only so you'll need a bottle and regulator. Don't bother with the disposable bottles, get a proper bottle from a local supplier.
