Quick Drying - Halogen ??

Been painting bits here and there using:

Hammerite 'type' heavy duty paint.
Also rattle cans for touching up stuff satin black.
VHT paint, again in rattle cans.

I've been thinking about how best to dry/cure anything I've done.
If indeed it needs to cure.

Would there be any advantage in using a halogen heater ? (outdoor garden type)
..or am I on the wrongtrack and should just let it dry naturally

bit of heat would speed things along , theyre air drying products though so no need to force them

a heat gun might be a idea for smaller items with a rattle can , hammerite stuff will take much longer

Yeah but I could never get good coverage applying it with a hammer - and it made a lot of mess
