So I'm looking at a project to build a framework in the back of an offroad vehicle for storage drawers etc.
It'll consist of a frame with a platform screwed onto the top, some unwin rail on top of that too.
Any suggestions on what thickness box section I should use? It'll be a combination of 10x20, mainly 20x20 and the odd 30x20.
Anyone with experience got any suggestions on how thick to go? It's a trade of between strength and weight obviously and I can use thicker tube where necessary, like where the 1.2m long drawer sliders mount onto the frame. Wil all be welded together and to the body of the vehicle.
Thanks in advance
