Quality welding

I'm genuinely gobsmacked!
That has to be some of the worst "welding" I've ever seen!
It's actually similar to many of the "what am I doing wrong" type posts on here.

I think even some of the learners strive for better standards than that

I can’t moan, the welders lack of ability earned me some corn.
Some white lies can get you outa trouble.
Others like saying you can weld or over exaggerating your gentleman equipment can get you in trouble

That pin job looks a job where someone has said "no problem ....." and bought a buzz box / hobby mig to do it thinking... it isnt that hard .

End result is the pictures , welding is a skill that some people turn into art at both ends of the spectrum.

looks like mig, im guessing gas kept being blown away and wire speed was way to high thats with its loads of tiny blobs
