Q&S 3 PHASE PILLER DRILL

Having a wee problem wiring in this ex school drill , can anyone pint me in the right direction. Staring with where does the blue wire go

Where does it come from? The wiring's a mess, so imposdible to tell from the pictures.

Does it have a 4 pin or 5 pin plug on it?

If only a 4 pin plug with 5 core cable, the neutral is redundant so can be wrapped up out of the way (but check which cores are connected in the plug before assuming anything if it's been in a school)

yes, if that's coming from the plug it shouldn't be needed, the problem is something else

brown black grey are your 3 phases coming in, earth goes off somewhere out of the photo

3 blue out the top go off to the motor


what's the symptoms of it not working?
