Hi guys.
I have been given an old bike by a mate, he was riding it for a few years, mot'd it etc. It stood unused in his garden for a few years and I ended up with it.
It has no number plate, I cannot find a frame number and he has lost all the damn paperwork. I think my only chance of putting it back on the road is with a Q plate. The bike will not be hugely modified frame wise, but the lack of frame number will make it tricky to get a log book. Anyone gone through the Q plate route?
How do I do it?
How much did it cost?
How long did it take?
Was it a ball ache?
Have thought of another frame and logbook but it's finding one, and I quite like the idea of a small low number plate with a Q on it.
