Hi folk I have some new Jotun Pilot 2, the lids have a smaller hole in them with a plastic lid. I have been told it is a spout, which you pull out to decant the paint into your kettle. Is this correct?
And can you replace the little lid in the spout, like you can with a plastic engine oil container, if you don't use it all at once?
Thanks for the right answer!
(Also, if I am decanting this paint into my kettles with a spout, I would first have to remove the main lid anyway, to get my drill-powered stirrer in the can. Then after stirring, I replace the main lid, clip it on with the rubber retaining ring, and use the spout. )
Apologies if these seem like stupid questions! I haven't used this kind of lid before.
