12...or 10...have access to both
.wrap the strap around the tyre and tighten down to get the bead to seal then fill it?
done easystart before...once with a little too much...louder bang than normal and "fun" trying to put the flames out...
just watch trying to lever the tyre back on...know someone who broke their ribs doing that when the lever slipped....
Whats the stud pattern on it? 5x110?
are they the exact same size tyres ? if not you could only use the spare on one axlestud on the alfa is 5x110 i think, never really checked, but on the megane it is 4x100 otherwise i would have just swapped the wheels and popped alfa centre caps out
shame youre not closer I have a tyre machineyes tyres on megane and alfa are all 205/55r16
i will only be using spare (which is same size on full size steel wheel) on one axle...will have a spare and a bald on front, a decent and a half decent (but still legal) on rear

as you say most do but there are the odd few and as he has no compressor, just a 12v job by the sound of it, I reckon is the easy start methodcar tyers will normaly seat back on the beads without issue just start blowing air in and they pop on.
plant tyers on the other hand can be right twerps. over the last few years i've got quite good at poping tyers back on with lighter gas or easystart i prefer lighter gas tho. had a few bollockings for going to do it before as well, only for them to give up with every other trick about an hour later
Blowing things up with flammables, ratchet straps, hammers...
ffs, put the tyre on the rim with some 12" levers from poundland, put your knee on it and use a foot pump or track pump.
It must be impossible to do it that way obviously, because it works fine on my pushbike tyres, my motorbike tyres, my discovery tyres, the wife's car tyres, trailer tyres...
