the daughter was on holiday in thy-land and hired a scooter and thought her car licence covered it .it was faster than she thought and set off across 4 lane road 
strait in to the side of a car that then hit another and another still 
luckily just hurt her leg the old bill came along and fined her as license never covered a moped .she got off litely with a 25 quid fine and insurance sorted all the carnage

very true saw it 1st handThe brother in law does motorcycle training, you wouldn't believe what he has to deal with running the CBT days. I think he must have saved a thousand lives doing his job, some of them are suicide jockeys

I did my CBT in 2000,
after not riding for a few years then my full licence test .. now ride a 1200 bandit ,
I did it in MK not my home town,
there were two of us ,
the other guy had never been on a road,
had only drove a tractor at work,
we came out of the big carpark we had been practicing in ,
up the duel carriageway ,and crossed into a country road ,
the tractor boy John, pulled across in front of a speeding jag,
1st near miss
we then went around the many streets and roundabouts of mk ,
we came to one and the instructor said turn right at the next exit,
I went right ...John went left..!
the instructor followed,while him talking to me ..
one way on the radio,
we never met up..
so he said to me ,make your own way back to the carpark,
I had a happy half hour on the roads and roundabout on a 125..
I could hear him all the time telling John , turn here.... turn there.. John no etc..
I got back and waited for them,
he said your no problem on the road, passed
...but John you need to comeback for another half day tomorrow...
