one of the women i used to shoot for, very well off doctor, liven in a 7million quid mansion, was broken into and her husband took a real bad kicking, broken pelvis, internal bleeding the works, judge gave a sentence of 300 hours comunity service and a 6 month suspended sentence.

Over here all you need in court is an excuse, usually its "oh your honour, i was drunk/stoned" and thats good enough to get a suspended sentence or community service. But another one now is ADHD, some made up bull**** mental condition, that basically means a teenager or youth is a mannerless little brat. This comes with the added attraction that a doctor (at the taxpayers expence) can stand up in court and state to the judge that if poor little johnny hadn't got this horrible condition, he'd have a halo above him and be sweetness and light.

Carefull what traps you mention ............. my sister owns a scuba shop, along with a brewery bottle filling service (CO2). Similar topic being discussed with customers and she said that she would fit an intruder sensor, set to discharge her CO2 tank (very large!!!!).
Two days later she had a visit from police, cautioning her that her intended action would be illegal - took her a long time to explain the concept of humour and that she was only joking
If i discovered someone in my house, I would be really annoyed, as I'd have to go outside for a smoke - my living room would now be the robbers place of work

Smoke cloaks are one of the most effective deterrents. Turned out to many activations and even found disorientated scroats left on the premises. lol Blockbusters is one place that used to have many break ins....

BTW ADHD is very real and debilitating condition. It does not make you do bad things but it does make you be extremely impetuous an make spur of the moment decisions. So it does impair your judgement. My son has it and he is not a mannerlesss little brat, in fact he has very good manners and is very caring. Its not a label is a condition and has to be managed like any other condition such as diabetes, kidney stones etc.

He has never touched drugs or cigarettes as his mother suffered a stroke when he was 8 and she was only 38 and he despises people who smoke. That said...at Xmas a guy came back from the pub ****ed (next door neighbor of his mate) and moaned their cars were parked off the road (for safety). He pushed my son who told him not to do it again. He then pushed my son's Fiance who is expecting in February and then went to push my son again.....he woke up on the floor with 2 coppers telling him to get in the house or they would charge him with various offences relating to alcohol and violence. They are NOT all bad

It was unfair of me to say adhd is made up disease or condition, but sadly it is exactly the sort of thing that unpleasant little lowlifes can easily fake the symptoms of and then use as an excuse for all sorts of nasty behaviour.

Nice reply mate. You are right of course . Its just living with that and his mom having a stroke when he was 8 has made it hard for us so I tend to feel it more than I should. Thats why I am up late and spend a lot of time on forums. No point in me going to bed until wife has been to the loo 3 times....I might get some sleep after that. lol Fair play to you though for replying again!

I've run a dataline from the house alarm out to the garage, and put a Power RIO out there, with a SAB on the front of the garage, and PIR/Door Contacts inside. Also have IP CCTV Cameras out there that record inside the house.
