My brother had a bike stolen from under his bedroom window a day after he'd let one of the so-called mechanics at a Westgate Road bike shop take it for a spin.I like the idea of an electric cattle fence shock generator attached to metal door handle / lock hasp etc.
At D&K bikes, Newcastle we were talking to one of the staff about security and I said there was an article in the paper about a bike being taken from a locked garage. He said "hold on" and came back with another chap - the one who have suffered the theft. Turned out he had gone on holiday so parked his bikes (Harley and another I didn't note what type) in the garage and chained them to the floor. Garage was locked and wife's car parked firm against the garage door. Thieves simply removed the rear panels of his concrete garage and even took down fence between neighbours so they could wheel the bikes down their drive. Neither bike was ever recovered.

Bike was rare, rider was gone long enough to have the keys copied...
- GPz400R never seen again.A mate used a Westgate Road breakers for parts for his GPz900R after another mate binned it (killed in the process) - a week after he'd refitted all the second-hand parts, the bike was stolen and never recovered. The breakers had his address as they'd posted the parts...

. There has been a few cases of scumbags being shot and the shooters not being prosecuted. So in the long run thats your answer, when the next elections come up and you have these gits at the door looking for your vote, ask them would they change the law so your home (and property) is your castle, and defendable as such. Its all gone too touchy feely , hug a hoodie.
far to many do gooders who are far removed from reality protecting criminals rights , they should relinquish them if caught
trouble is they have never been burgled themselves or had there car s and property damaged so are unaware of the stress and anger it causes as well as financial loss
