Compressed pure oxygen, and a bit of gun oil, sounds like an easy way to blow your hands off.

and really up the pressure from 12 ft lb on your rifle

I firmly believe that you don’t know anyone that fills their air gun with pure oxygen. (Don’t confuse this with compressed air which contains oxygen as it’s not the same thing).

If you do know people that do this I’d strongly urge you to stand well clear whenever they are shooting

Why not get rid of the diving bottles and use the oxy bottle to charge the air rifles

That's one way of making it a firearm.

I agree, for the simple reason that if it was pure oxgyen, their guns would have already exploded.

Pure oxygen and grease/oil, plus pressure, = spontaneous combustion. Anyone with a PCP should have already seen the warnings and heard the scare stories loads of times.
