Propane Bottles

What about collecting one for use at home. i.e. for BBQ? I have no idea how this would fit with insurance etc.

yes I know thats why I was asking, so many 4x4 owners now have these cheap 12v compressors and tanks in the back do they all tell the insurance companies?

I can’t say what other people do but my Disco is my van so insurance know about Mapp gas, propane, compressor etc in mine

It’s stored compressed gas that’s an issue

Actually some insurances don't cover compressed air as used by divers or airgun filling.

Its not compressed if it ain't pressurised it's just an empty vessel

If you don't tell them it's called non disclosure ! Strangely they don't have to tell you what isn't covered just what is
