Now I've said it I'm sure theres a rotting thing. My gut feeling is its the propane, think I read about it when I was researching the campervan conversion. I've only cut with propane a couple of times. OA is standard kit everywhere I've worked, on land and on ships. Its a much cleaner cut and more importantly its lighter than air so it doesnt collect in bilges and nooks and crannies. Acetelyne not oxygen that is......
) use propane hoses with acetylene but acetylene hoses are fine for propane gas. I used to use an acetylene reg on propane, the threads are the same but with the regulator open more than just a crack would supply too much gas, I swapped it for a propane reg for a more useful adjustment range. I'm pretty sure I asked on here years ago and someone (Probably
) assured me it was fine.
