Changing a disk on site and the site manager walked past. Being the helpful prick he was he plugged the grinder in to the genny whereupon I discovered quite quickly the grinder was switched on. Luckily had mig gauntlets on. Unluckily they were really nice miller ones and it cost me 40 quid for another pairI've never made a point of unplugging my angle grinders when I change the discs, I'm not so dumb to pull the trigger while holding the wheel...
A few months back I was changing a 5" cut off disc, took a firm grip of the new disc to hand tighten it..... pressed the wheel lock button....
...or rather I pressed the ON button.....
And mercifully, it was one of the very few times I had actually unplugged it....![]()
