My bargain Dewalt cordless grinder bought here last week thought it would make me pay for my good luck today Been using grinders without guards for many years without a single hiccup as i back cut and do circus tricks with them for money...until today running a slitting disc over some gutter brackets wrapped it up in a cheese Wotsit bag and carried on

I plugged in my rarely used palm router. Bloody thing was turned on luckily it did not bite me.
Stupid design by Bosch to have that type of switch on a hand held power tool. Just a little on/off switch

Salt n vinegar crisp packet works best, you just know the stinging must be doing some good

If it looks like it needs stitches. Super glue. Sod waiting in A&E to get a couple of Steri strips. for them to fall off to moment you start work again.

Its usually what you have to hand. Brown, red, masking. Or just bugger off t pub

All very well doing the bravado bit with the masking tape, wotsits bags, super glue and the rest, until it starts healing and seals an infection in it. Then you have a chance of loosing something. Sorry guys, get it checked out. Most Minor injuries units, you are in and out in twenty minutes

If we're getting all serious, the real lesson here should be to keep the guard on. It is an accident waiting to happen.
