Projects for over christmas

Ok anyone have any shed time planned for over the holidays? Myself needs to fix my Nissan cabstar burst power steering pipe, rebuild a Honda GX390 motor from one of my pressure washers and service my work van with oil/filters etc and general tinkering about the place. Will have a good supply of mince pies and fresh coffee with Classic FM in the background, can't wait for the break if i am honest.

Back plate to manufacture for a new chuck
Pedestal grinder to tidy up and sort a new pulley for
Another drill to tidy up

Then there’s all the things that I’d actually like to do… which Christmas were you talking about?

Get my compressor housing set up to free space in the workshop, get the engine out of my 964, get it stripped down, then get royally shafted over the cost of replacement engine parts

I'm planning to convert some oak and maple floorborads that have been sat in my late Dads garage for years into beer crates for my home-brew. @angellonewolf has supplied the railgun!

House diy jobs = infinity minus 1
Garden jobs = infinity minus a few more than 1
Do above when in the mood, possibly next Christmas.

Fit new injector leak off pipe ass'y to camper van, present one leaks off in all the wrong places, diesel everywhere.
Fathom out why milling machine 3 phase drive does not work properly.

And lastly munch my way through all the sweets, chocolates that I have been given!

Think you may end up with just a lot of splinters and sawdust if you use a railgun.

Indeed, it's a nailgun but my MacBook converts to railgun for some reason. Either way there will be splinters and sawdust!

Starting off the interior of my own car to use as a promo to show what I can do.Suzuki swift with worn out seats(had leather but swapped them for standard and £150), three hides of blue leather and some orange thread lets see what I can do.

I’ll be very happy if I get the mill fixed, change the motor on the lathe and repair the first drill. That should be achievable!!! But we’ll see there’s always next Christmas…

Mrs Robson summed it up rather eloquently the other day. I need to stop starting more projects because not one of the 50 I’ve currently got started are even close to being finished!

Re the "Project Fatigue" thread, I've got two projects that are nowhere near as stressful but I can't bring myself to getting on with them. Maybe over the festive period:

1. Heavy duty handmade castors for my Rapidor nodding donkey
2. Replace the single phase motor on the Rong Fu mill with a 3 phase motor and VFD

Materials for both were bought around 3 years ago but I lost my mojo a bit....

Aye - that will be the castors for the saw, which will have the added bonus of being able to move the bloody thing around!

I've done one, so have a template. Good advice - will check back in a couple of weeks

As bad as me!
All depends on my health - been feeling far better but gallbladder aching again last 2 days. Hope to God the infection isn't back or that's me in hospital again. Damn wiaiting lists worse in Wales than anywhere - 20mph speed limits far more important

Anyway on my list.
Building a modified JD garage cnc plasma cutter
Sorting out a nice vertical drill - rack and pinion table winder playing up
Trying to get my CNC milling machine working - the one with the Heidenhein controls
Finish the rear doors on the very hefty expedition trailer I am still building
Get in some lathe time
Finish off @DAPPH lathe pulley spindle
General tiding up so I can actually find all the tools I have
Oh and have a play with my Christmas present - a 20W laser cutter/engraver

Assuming wife lets me out of her sight as well
