projection weld stud

I want projection weld stainless m8 studs onto 2mm stainless plate.
the projections are under the head and the studs go thru a 8mm clearance hole.
What sort of equipment should i be looking at to do this job.
As always ..cheap and cheerful..

You require a stud welder mate.

Hi I am bit of welder, and could well be a stud.

But however, can you just drill an interference hole plug weld them in from the back?
