Ok just found this hiding in the workshop, forgot i had it. Its a little flow meter which you shove on the end of the welding torch, with the wire feed disabled. The little ball baring inside rises up the graduated scale and shows you gas flow at the torch (not at the reg, which can be different). This one came from BOC years ago cant remember how much it was but it was cheap enough. So if you got troubles with gas flow, welds look like swiss cheese, try getting hold of one of these.
If Weldequip or diywelding can answer this. Are these things still around, and would they work on the little hobby welders, because something like this might work for members that use the little disposable bottles, with no flow guage on.
