Problem with Sky channel 155....

For reasons best known to itself, my Sky+HD box has started to display the message that my card [no subscription] needs to be paired with the box, but only when I try to tune to Ch155, aka "Yesterday".

I go to the recommended website section and follow the steps there, but this makes no difference. This is the only channel as far as I can see, where this happens. Anyone else had this, either on the same channel or others, and if so what's the fix?

No, didn't think of that since all the others seem to be in their usual places.

No Yesterday is still free. I get it on Freesat

If you dont watch subscribed channels just bin the sky box and get a Freesat. I was so fed up with sky's restrictions so got rid. Freesat plugs straight in to the same LNB and works perfectly

It might still be free on sky as well but maybe its just not on channel 155 any more.
If it's moved and a subscription channel is now on 155 that will cause the op's issue.
Rescan and have a look through to see if yesterday has come back somewhere else

Ah, think I worked it out,
Yesterday, yesterday switched to HD.
(On sky 155)
I would think that might mean it's not free on sky any more.
Try the scan and see if it's available on another channel in SD?

Looks like Quest HD has gone from fta as well which is a bit disappointing

I don't know if its any help but on Freesat Yesterday is on channel 159

Looks like because it's changed to HD it requires an increased money grab from Sky, at the moment it appears as if it is still available on Sky Ch 255 in '+1 standard definition format.

Genius! It was hiding under an assumed name, aka Ch255.

Is there anything which can't be resolved by posting on here? Thanks to all who bothered to reply.

John, we got rid of sky, kept the box to get the free channels. We now have a fire stick, it has every sky channel on it and more. Cost us £60 to get the “extra” channels put on it. Only problem now is me, I can’t work it!
