Problem with my tecarc 211 mig

So it was working fine until you decided to service it? If that's the case I'd be looking at something you've disturbed....got the contact tip back correctly, disturbed something on the ground terminal.....?

And thats where you're spot on,as follows
I walked away from it yesterday before i got tempted to give it a slap,returned this morning to stare at it asking myself WTF is wrong with it,so thought start from the beginning and double check wires etc,went to the coarse switch,now if you look at my 1st photo you'll see a wire going under the switch i gave it a wiggle and felt it like wasn't on as tight as the top 2, took it off striped a bit of it back,connected it back on.................
BINGO would you bloody believe it it came back to life,dont ask me how or why,and i'm dead cert i checked it before,weird,not only am i happy i'm also gobsmacked and embarressed
I can only assume i knocked it when using the long reach blow gun well thats my excuse,plonker of the month

And we know more about TA's wiring quality...

That wiring is appalling, I'd be using quality crimps all round including bootlace ferrules where appropriate.

best i say i didnt buy this brand new,got is around Aug 2019 2nd hand and it is an early 211 model,but to be honest,these aren't cheap,so yes,you're right

I've sorted out that little bodge on the contactor

All in all its a cracking tool
