Printing Smooth & Glossy

Trying to print a 3 pronged window winder thing. This is the underside with a prong missing:

Original in the centre it has a slight convex face. This is the face you see. Printed one on the left, a flat face with a stippled effect from the Bambu X1C build plate.

The printed one. Again with the stippled effect from the build plate:

I might get a smooth build plate.

Any suggestions for getting the face smooth and glossy?

I have seen suggestions for trying the build plate upside down, for Creality.

Solvent vapour smoothing?

(Never tried it, just know that people do it.)

wipe it over with a bit of acetone? or break cleaner.... or whatever you have handy?

could you print it upside down with supports.... in vase mode so you'd have a nice circular pattern on the top?


I've never tired vase mode before so no idea how well it works
