For the heat shrink - is there a specific cartridge for that or can you load your own in for printing onto? I imagine it really needs to be white shrink for black print text is that correct?
Well as promised here you go, here's what 36e gets you. A orange labeller that runs off batteries or usb power, a handbook I only read after taking all these pictures that actually does contain some useful info on how to set margins etc properly & a reel of flat adhesive tape handy for making a test print label with which I wont use very often as I have a little dymo for flat tape.

To change label rolls you have to take the back off, and just swap it, no fancy doors to lift for just the label exchange.

Here's a heatshrink roll I got from a different aliexpress supplier in a bulk package.

As for heatshrinks, its good enough for me, this isnt shrank on yet because I needed to do it in situ so it was somewhere visible, but when I did do it, its neat and well shrank. I used a handheld battery heat gun but a hairdryer or soldering iron wafted near it probably would work fine too. Note I didnt read the manuals on margin setup, which is why its not centrered.

So its not a posh unit in a nice case, but for my use case its fine and uses cheap consumables. I havent ran it on batteries yet, but it runs fine off a usb battery bank which is easier for me
What platform...sorry.That older one was £79 used then I cancelled it on ebay and went for a used 5200 instead which was also listed cheaper and with a carry case for £50

But if you set the margins like the fine manual tells you how to, you dont waste a tiny bit of each precious tube cutting it off each print... Yes I am tightfisted.Scissors....
