If the resin is fully cured, then just rub down and paint............only issue would be the surface may be quite rough, and need plenty of prep work for a reasonable finish.
As above make sure its well cured. I use epoxy on GRP all the time, just key it with 120 , wipe with Panel Wipe and apply the epoxy, It does an excellent job.
