Hi all Just finished my bike and need to start painting it ,new mudguard tank battery box all bare metal, so my question is
What primer should I use , should I use a etchaikovsky primer then a 2k primer over that.
Your thoughts and help please

I'd go with epoxy primer instead of a etch primer TBH.

its 2 part as in primer + hardner , but doesnt contain isocyanates so reasonbly "safe" to use

if the panel has imperfections then you can high build over it

It's a cheap product, cheap isn't always good, I would stick with a reputable brand like Lechlar, marginally dearer but reliable

In my opinion 1K epoxy is not worth bothering with !!!

Just curious but why white ? if you using blue ?

I would get it tinted blue same as topcoat, stone hips won't show so bad then.
