I've just had my sprayguns stolen and I'm in the middle of a restoration. I'm about to put a van in epoxy primer. Can anyone recommend something that got them better results than expected for the price? I used to have two airgunsa a 1.3 and a 1.8 for primer. The 1.3 I used to be able to use for top coats and then I got a Gti which sprayed like glass when setup right. As I'm now saving for a gti pro are there cheaper guns that will work as well as a az3 or flg-5?

The FMT 3007 kit. Has 1.3 and 1.8 sets and includes a stand. All for around £70.

How are you finding it sprays. I have a few compressors I use a 3hp 150 ltr and 3hp 270 ltr and a 6hp 270 litre so I think they will all work with this gun. (My air fed mask is separate.) I'm tempted to just buy the gun for £24.50 and try it for now. Can you get a 3m PPS adapter for these as I've got some upside down spraying to do.

I tried the fast mover gun on some lechler epoxy once I set it up to atomise properly it was great. I can't believe it was a £25 gun but then again the same seller has it back up to £50 now. It hardly uses any air and virtually zero overspray. I'm looking at a German version for poly primer as it has the 2.5mm tip but sadly it's nearly £70 including postage from germany

Colourweld.co.UK have a fastmover mini gun listed at £17.50. Don't know if that is the same thing though. Can't do a link on my phone.
So many cheap spray guns about, it's hard to decide which ones are any good. I bought a Lidl one for a tenner the other week, on the basis that it would probably be ok for priming my alloys and was practically disposable at that price.

Did you spray the epoxy with a 1.4 tip like the gun you linked to, or a 1.8mm tip?
You got a bargain if you only paid £25.

The FMT gun I have is a 1.7. I use the 1.3 for 2 pack colour.
I bought the 1.8 full size gun for Primer.
You can get the gun a stand and a gauge for £35 on ebay...
