My 300 amp tecarc did take quite some time to arrive, but admittedly its not really an off-the-shelf job. I knew and had accepted that going into it. Same happened with my simple little oxford several years ago though.
Could be worth looking at their newer design optearc MIGs though, based off my limited experience so far, they seem quite a lot less thirsty on the electricity bill than I was expecting. My bill has barely gone up from the 180 amp oxford and I'm doing easily 50% more welding hours than I was doing before and at higher amperage too.
I use Allister Moore Welding over here in Ireland they’re excellent to deal with and as has been said much easier to repair(they repair in-house) than sending it to the mainland.
