This took a good few weekends ha
I really like that, nice proportions. Have you left the metal bare or given it a coat of something to protect it?
I bet that was a few £££'s of steel
Cheers! It's had couple of coats of Briwax so it should stand up to general moisture / humidity
Ha it wasn't too bad as it's all just 20mm box, about £120 plus £75 for the pine
looks good left unpainted. In the house that should be fine, and not to difficult to sort if you did get a littler bit of surface rust.
looks a really good bookcase
nicely made as well
I did consider lacquering it but preferred the look more natural look of the wax, time will tell ha
Excellent, Modern, stylish functional,Ticks all the boxes.
Cheers mate, nice cobra!
nice job man, but-----------you need some more books
Haha cheers man
I would never have thought of using steel, not liking the 'industrial indoors' look, but that really does look good, well done Barry
no worries i might have to replace the rubbish ikea one in my front room now
Cheers mate, it was actually made for my brother - he's a big fan of the industrial look
i was thinking the same thing,
Nice job! , and Laphroaig too......
Cheers man, it's actually my brother's house / whisky ha
