Very interesting concept Busa, seems three ways the exhausts are made.
Trouble doing by this method is how accurate the pattern cut out is and the folding over. 2T need back pressure.

How were the works bikes done.
All the hydraulic cylinders over the years i have made have been filled with oil and water pumped in under pressure up to 10000psi. Have had two 10000 psi rated fittings blow around 6000psi, all that happens is that area parts approx 3 to 4".
Enerpac is the easiest just plumb in to normal compressor and other pipe submersed in water. Used to crap myself but had to be done.
Could use a converted grease gun with pressure guage, did a few in early days that way. Make sure you get a 10k psi one though, most are 6000psi. Cheapish and easy but take some grunt above 4500 psi.
At least it would test the welds for leaks!
