Pressure washer inlet thread

I have a Nilfisk C110.3 pressure washer, does anybody know what the thread size is on the water inlet?
Thread OD measures 25.8 mm once I'd wire-brushed all the corrosion off, so it could be a 3/4" BSP or M26.

Should be a simple question but lots of Googling has failed to find it!

I got fed up with the hose connector pinging off the cheap plastic adaptor under pressure so I want to replace it with a brass or stainless one. Nilfisk and lots of other retailers just want to sell me another cheap plastic one.

Usually most have 3/4" bsp inlets karcher hots seem to have 1" bsp to be really awkward

they are the same thread and size as an outside brass tap if this helps

Nilfisk 140.3 is 3/4"

The standard hozeloc tap-to-quick connect fittings work fine.
Screwfix and the like do brass ones I think and hozeloc do a nice one which might be stainless although I expect it's just plated brass

Ok thanks all, sounds like it's definitely BSP not metric. I'm replacing all my plastic hose fittings with metal, even the pukka Hozelock ones never seem to last long.

yeah right, Hozelock aren't that much good anymore...
been buying brass fittings, if u go that route....
the quick fitting...look inside if the retaining parts are plastic AVOID...I go for the type with ball bearings, so far Stainless they are the same price as the ones with plastic ears/barbs....

Aldi have a selection of brass fittings on sale from time to time - been using them for a number of years - hose is simply left out in all weathers, so they get some abuse. Had to free one off for the first time in a decade - dirt prevented the collar sliding properly. Quick blast with air and it's working fine again.
