Just make sure you use the correct type of solvent resistant hose!
I worked for a small firm making roller shutter doors. The paint hose on the pressure pot sprayer was perished & kept developing leaks. Boss was a penny pinching git so he just kept cutting down the hose sooner than buy a new one. Eventually it got too short so he came up with the idea of cutting the air supply hose in two and using it for the paint. I did tell him that it might not be suitable for paint but he ignored me.
About a week later the hose burst and sprayed paint everywhere, including over most of the sections of a huge shutter door we were assembling, causing at least £1000 worth of damage. Boss tried to blame everyone but himself but went out straight away and bought a roll of the proper hose. I lasted 5 weeks in that job, couldn't take any more of his penny pinching ways and his complete disregard of basic health & safety.
