Pressed hole plate-correct name?

I’m trying to identify the correct name of a type of plate that has been described to me. In some ways the plate resembles a cheese grater in that the holes appear to be “pressed though” displacing the metal as opposed to removing the metal, like drilling does. Anyone know what it is called?

No, that`s not it. I need to explain better. It it to stop rain entering in, and the metal that is pressed through kind of forms a “canopy”.

It could also be expanded pressed metal sheet or Expamet , it used to come in all sorts of sizes and web thicknesses as well as angles of the pressing .
It can be great for making larger than normal air vent panels or light suppression , screening of up to 2 mtrs by 1.5 mtrs or more if placed in the right plane

Post 7 gives your answer. I thought he wanted a roof cowl to keep rain out and still don't know if he wants it to fit to a roof, a wall, a car bonnet or sides or to a rabbit hutch.
